On a yacht from Riga to Jurmala by sea. The route takes 4 hours.
A popular route with a minimum duration of 4 hours. During this time you will have time to reach Jurmala at cruising speed, by sea. Make a couple of stops in the sea for swimming. Many people rent yachts for 4-6 hours and go sea fishing. The Gulf of Riga is home to many species of fish, including salmon.
Both a motor boat and a sailing yacht are suitable for this route.
Along the route from Riga you will see a trade port, a coal terminal, many huge moored merchant ships, the island of “Love”, the sea gate at the exit to the bay, the Lighthouse, the coastline from Riga to Jurmala.
It is better to choose this route in calmer weather, since half of the route will pass along the Gulf of Riga and may sway a little on the waves.
Also, at the request of the guests, if the rental period of the yacht is extended, there is an opportunity to go out into the bay further, 5 km from the coastline, and take photographs there against the backdrop of huge ships anchored in the roadstead.
At a distance of 5 km from the shore, the color and transparency of the water changes significantly, the water there acquires a more bluish tint and becomes transparent.
